My 4 Port Us Hub That is Plugged Into the 110 Outlet is Continuing to Beep

HI CFWM. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

USB type C is not backward compatible. See here: https://www.howtogeek.com/211843/usb-type-c-exp...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Hello Greg,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry but I do not understand what you mean by type c being not backward compatible.

It's a type c hub with 3 type a connectors on it. My mouse and keyboard works when my phone is charging off of it. It's only when I unplug my phone that it doesn't work properly.

Regards,

Snoop

I've read the article already so yes I have read about the backward compatibility.

Does the hub require a power supply?
Some USB drives require additional power which the hub doesn't supply.

Hey Snoop -

It looks like a really good solid product. I'd ask their Support at the link at bottom about your issue with it. They are likely responsive because they want to get ahead of such issues.

Please let us know what you find. This is cutting-edge tech that we like to keep current on, and it should help others.
